The company is a level one contributor and its procurement recognition level is 135%. These levels have been determined in terms of an audit under the DTI Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Codes of Good Practice.

Ditikeni Investment Company is rated as a 98%-black-owned, black-controlled broad-based investment entity. Ditikeni holds 18 investments and pays a regular annual distribution to shareholders. Holdings include Chevron (1%), Marsh South Africa (2.5%), Kelly Group (5%) and Maitland Fund Services (10%), as well as several empowerment companies such as J and J Group and Sphere Holdings.
