Chairperson: Dr Sybil Seoka

Sybil Seoka, chairperson of the Advance Call Board, serves other organisations in various capacities. She is an EXCO member of the Northern Gauteng Branch of the SA Association of Hospital Pharmacists and President of the Pharmaceutical Society of South Africa. She serves on the Board of Trustees of the Anglican Church of Southern Africa (ACSA) Pension Fund and the Professional Provident Society (PPS) Retirement Annuity. Sybil is a non-executive director of PPS Limited, PPS Insurance Company and Occupational Care SA (OCSA), and is Chief Executive Officer of a medical distributor. She has recently been appointed as a Deputy Registrar of Medicines in the National Department of Health.

Sybil previously served on the Health Charter working group and the Industry Task Group (ITG), which interacted with the National Department of Health. She was also chairperson of the SA Medical Devices Association (SAMED) and an executive of the National Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers. Sybil was also a trustee of the Adcock-Ingram Provident Fund. Sybil holds a PhD from the University of Illinois, Chicago.
